Former US House speaker says documented people, Dreamers, mothers and children must not be deported
Newt Gingrich, the former US House speaker and presidential hopeful, said a section of his own Republican party was “rabid” over immigration and predicted Donald Trump’s suggestion that he could deport documented people as well as millions of undocumented people will not come to pass.
“I’d be very surprised if you see any significant effort to change the game for people who are here legally,” Gingrich said, weeks before Trump’s return to the White House. “I just think there’s a very small faction of the party that’s rabid about this.”
He also warned that public support for mass deportations would “collapse” if stories began to come out “about mothers or babies or children being deported”.
The president-elect may not welcome Gingrich’s intervention. After all, Trump won last year’s election promising mass deportations involving the armed forces and detention camps.

We don’t need to go out and hunt people down and stash them in camps like the Lefties are thinking. We only need to do 2 things:
1) Cut off all public assistance to illegal aliens. They shouldn’t be getting any public money anyway. Hello???? They’re here ILLEGALLY.
2) Crack down hard on EMPLOYERS. Threaten to jail them and fine the bejeezus out of them if they’re caught employing illegal aliens - and follow through on that threat. We need some high profile raids and busts with corporate managers and owners being perp walked with handcuffs on for everybody to get the message that we mean it. The laws are already on the books. ENFORCE THEM.
With these 2 things being done, the flow of money to illegal aliens would be cut off. All the Soros/UN money in the world isn’t close to enough to pay their cost of living. So just offer them free transport back to their countries of origin. Millions of them will agree to self deport with no means of support in the US.

That will look bad and will give Leftists exactly the imagery they want. Just cut off the money. The illegals will be voluntarily lining up to accept free transport back to their own countries. You’ll get the same thing done and make it a lot more difficult for the Leftists to cry that its either “racist” or “fascist” since gosh....they’re willingly leaving and we’re being so kind and generous and all to provide them free transport....because we “care”.....

We need a lot more than 110,000 out of here. The problem with your approach is I'm afraid that we round up a bunch, put them in camps and start shipping them out and the leftists get pics of the camps and whine, and cry and bitch, and wail and moan and pull their hair out and stomp their feet and scream "Nazi!!!!!" "Hitler!!!!" "Mean" "Cruel" and that Argie Commie the pope does likewise and the UN screams and cries and it puts so much pressure on Republicans that they cave and stop deporting the illegals and shut down the camps......and still get trounced in the next election.

Bust "greedy" employers who are employing illegals and undercutting Americans' wages (something that will be easy to sell politically) and just cut off the public funding....ie "no more luxury hotels", "no more taking your kids' place in public schools", "no more jamming hospital emergency rooms" etc and we can sell that to the public. Then with no money public or private, they agree to "voluntarily" accept our offer to fly them out. MUCH better politically.....deny Leftists the opportunity to claim illegals are "victims".
