The legacy media downplayed the extent of deaths in the Lahaina fires two years ago and those in the western North Carolina area last year from the hurricane. It is likely, based on reports from local residents, that the death tolls were multiple times higher than the official numbers from state officials. The California and Los Angeles city and county governments will follow the examples of their Hawaii and North Carolina counterparts.

The only benefit that has come out of the three disasters is that the percentage of people who trust officials and the legacy media has plummeted. Unfortunately, the alternative media lacks the resources to have reporters on the ground.
