Beck, the now-former Georgia quarterback, has pushed his NFL plans back a year and is committed to play next season at Miami, making the announcement known Friday and becoming another huge transfer portal acquisition for the Hurricanes.

PING.....just in case you care
“Beck is dating Miami women’s basketball guard Hanna Cavinder.”
Worked for Cam Ward....
UGA fans won’t really miss him.
He faded like a cheap shirt late in the season.
From what I just read on a UGA message board I’d have to say you’re correct.
College athletes go on university payrolls in the summer. This the result of the House court settlement which requires universities to allocate $2.8 billion dollars to current and former athletes.
This is not NIL, this will be money paid from the budget of universities directly to the athlete.
Frankly, I don’t see why schools would even require athletes to attend classes since the athletes are being hired to play for the university just like any other univesity employee.
Didn’t work out for The “U” did it?
It’s all about the benjamins to these kids. Nothing else, anymore. Used to be they had some school loyalty. That’s a thing of the past, unfortunately.
Miami’s defense will still suck.
Want to compare how Miami did to the rest of the Florida schools?? They were head and shoulders better than one year ago but Ward is a QB, and can’t play defense
Ka-CHING!!!
Yes, they caught us, when the Gators were still trying to figure things out.
My theory: Commies using LBGQ (whatever) to kill competitive sport for women, using transfer portal to kill college football. They HATE competition and merit.
“Want to compare how Miami did to the rest of the Florida schools??”
Dude, your describing the least ugly man in an ugly man contest....at the end of the day....they’re ALL ugly.
UF shoulda threatened to fire Billy Napier 2 years ago....nothing motivates like fear of termination. Lol!
True that. Because something definitely changed during the bye week after the A&M Game.
And it’s a darn good thing that Lagway became the starter. It totally transformed the team.
Speaking of A&M, something just isn’t right about their football program. They have the money, the facilities, the alumni and fan base but they just can’t put it together on the field. Always been that way.
what a loser
“Used to be they had some school loyalty.”
Nick Saban complained about that after he retired from Alabama.
