Such a thing is unpredictable. And it’s a mistake to look at it in purely racial terms. The wildest snap-out I personally experienced was that of an older white guy. He went from 0 to 100 in an instant. I just backed up. Fortunately for the both of us, he did not follow.

I realize this is an extreme case, but the expectations for tips have gotten completely out of control. I always tip 20%, but that’s often not enough for meal servers and delivery folks. It’s not my job to make up for their wages and Biden’s inflation.

I 100% believe this was simply an ugly armed robbery that turned violent when the victim didn't have as much money as the criminals thought. The tip angle seems to me to be mostly media sensationalism and obfuscation by the female perp.
