Then who were the orginal natives of this land?
Pre-Clovis ppls, Solutreans, etc. Stuff like that. Ppl that came across the Bearing straight and across the N. Atlantic during the last ice age and before it. Now they’re finding artifacts from the prior inter-glacial period 120K years ago indicating habitation pre-dating the last ice age. But the megafauna got killed off with the Clovis culture in a 10,000 BC catastrophe.

The ‘Native Americans’ crossed the Bering Straight around 12000 years ago. There were waves of settlement I guess.
