The NFL has moved Monday's wild-card playoff game between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams to Arizona, it announced Thursday night, saying the decision was made in the interest of public safety as wildfires continue to ravage Southern California.
The game was originally scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium at 8 p.m. on Monday. It now will be played at State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, at the same time Monday.

Makes sense, with the uncertainty of the disaster in LA
It’s a big break for the Vikings who are the king of chokers.
💯.
I don’t think it’s a public safety issue but more of a public relations issue. Playing a billion dollar football game while the city burns isn’t a good look.
It will be nice to see TWO professional football teams playing in State Farm Stadium at the same time.
Wow, the irony. State Farm Insurance Stadium.....California hates private insurance companies.
Lots of snowbird Minnesotans in Arizona this time of year. I’m sure they’re thrilled. Of course the Rams fans will come over from LA as well.
...and State Farm reportedly canceled thousands of fire insurance policies in L.A. in the months prior to the fire.
They had to make the decision today I would imagine...due to logistics if nothing else.
Yeah, the irony. I don’t blame State Farm. Why should they have in insure homes in areas where California has turned into tinderboxes just waiting to ignite.
