Had a snow shovel I brought back from working two years up north.

Used it to shovel oak leaves into bags in fall/winter.

Wore it out years later and got a grain shovel. Noticed other neighbors now using grain shovels to bag leaves.

One thing you can do, if you know that a snow storm is on its way is to cover your sidewalks and driveway with tarps, so they stay ice and snow free.

It will also speed up the melting prulocess by creating a heat sink.

My favorite snowstorm in Texas. Other places have had more snow, but few had as much fun!

San Antonio 1985 Snowstorm

Snowfall records dating back to 1885 were easily shattered in one weekend. From Friday, Jan. 11 through Sunday, Jan.13, anywhere from one to 14 inches of snow fell over Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and San Antonio all the up into the Austin area. In the Alamo City, a total of 13.5 inches of snow fell while Del Rio received 8.6 inches of snow.
