This snow would have been in about 1960. I’m really old. šŸ˜†

We had a horrible blizzard in 1993 ... in Birmingham, Alabama. 13-20 inches of snow. We thought our weatherman was crazy for predicting 5 or 6 inches of snow...in March...after the dogwoods had been blooming and we were experiencing highs in the 70's.

Us Gen X'ers and older haven't forgotten it and think about 1993 every time there's a forecast of snow flurries. LOL

You are correct, it was 1960, not my 1961 guess. Houston got 4.4 inches of snow, it is a wonder that any of us survived such a fantastic event.

There was a big snow in 1960 and in 1973. There was a hell of a nasty ice storm around 1992. I was driving home from work and the local radio station announced that there were over 1100 car wrecks and they couldn’t keep up with all of them. The announcer said “Your on your own. Good Luck”.
