For some reason all morning no air tankers
News copters showing live feeds mentioned on air they didn’t understand why
Last report about 1/2 hour ago said some finally inbound
Daylight is very short this time of year so I don’t understand the delay
Could be incompetence but also reminds me of what happened in Hawaii.

Feel sorry for the people there, the government is completely inept and makes matters worse.
I believe the winds are preventing it. 60 mph+ gusts = no flying of helicopters.
They were able to fly last night and slowed down the Sunset fire from reaching residential areas.
High winds - which can carry the embers up to 2 miles - are a killer.
