Because of the height of the woman in the front row, second from left, and the width of her shoulders in comparison to her head, I wondered if trans still compete. I don't know if that woman is trans,I just know that in the past the competition made a big deal about trans contestants. The competition is now limited to trans who have completed medical transition.

"Previously, the competition allowed anyone who identified as “a female” to compete. In the new Miss America 2025 contract, viewed by The Standard, competitors now have to identify either as “a born female” or a female who has “fully completed [sexual reassignment surgery]/Gender Affirming Surgery from male to female, with accompanying medical certification.”

Not ‘second from left’! I should have typed ‘second from right’! I was referring to the very tall woman on the right wearing a green dress.
