Normal flu deaths per year are higher than most people realize. This has always been the case.

Maybe bird flu is less deadly than normal flu.

Normal flu deaths per year are higher than most people realize. This has always been the case. Maybe bird flu is less deadly than normal flu.

The seasonal flu, as it's called, kills between 30,000 and 80,000 people per year.

This bird flu has killed one person.

I am not a licensed mathematician so I will comment no further.
