I’m currently sick with an unknown virus, but it’s not norovirus.
Last Friday, I began to wheeze and couldn’t walk without my walker. I occasionally use my walker for my back pain. Last weekend, If I attempted to walk without assistance, I would wheeze violently and lose my breath.
Monday, I started to feel better. Yesterday, I started wheezing again, along with violently coughing and violent chills. I am so weak, I can barely get out of bed., which is not good considering that I am the sole caretaker of my crippled mother.
I’m wondering if I have Pneumonia. My brother-in-law is currently hospitalized with pneumonia and covid. Pneumonia is spreading fast in Alabama.
I hope you are feeling better.
I’ve had pneumonia. You feel like you’ll have to get better to die.
Hubby and I had bad pneumonia at the same time about 10 years ago. If it weren’t for the fact that we had to take care of the cats, we would’ve welcomed death, I think.
Our neighbor’s homemade chx noodle soup turned the tide.
Got my cold or whatever it is on Dec 26. Tested myself and it wasn’t covid. No fever,Runny nose, post nasal drip, sore throat, deep cough that wasn’t productive to start. Lots of mucus now from throat and nose.
Urgent care actually sent out suggestions they apparently are swamped with patients. Due to hacking up mucus not best company but feel pretty good. Reports are cough can last for weeks.
Chicken soup ranks up there with antibiotics.
My 24 year old daughter and her boyfriend are sick with a rona.
Both in the health field and fully vaxxed as required by their schools and employers.
They were here for Christmas.
Everyone I know that has had a cold for the last 2 years has been fully vaxxed up.
The last 3 times I have seen a doctor, they all had the sniffles.
I am pureblooded doing just fine.
When I was in first grade, I was hospitalized with Double pneumonia. Don’t want to experience that again.
So does garlic.
Just getting over this, flat ginger ale helps with the nausea.
The tale is apt, when told as a children's story.
Henny-Penny: The Sky is Falling!
While the human race has indeed survived, along the way, all the "hyperventilating" has taken many victims, quite in the manner of the "innocent" tale.
It is no wonder why fables from Aesop and Grimm to classics like the above are suppressed in favor of modern "sky is falling" books which the "foxes" want kids to read. And then lure them into the lair.
