I used to be SDA. I think they have many correct points on prophecy, such as the US falling in the last days and being a nation that helps the world fall under the power of the AntiChrist.
However, I think their identity of Rome is misplaced, in terms of traditional Rome being the power of the AntiChrist. I think Fallen Rome will the First Beast, but the Anti-Christ power is socialism. SOcialism bypasses all religions and binds them together. The US is almost the last nation on Earth that hasn’t completely fallen into socialism, so I think it will eventually.
I also think the self-sufficiency of SDA’s, being so confident in being correct will be their downfall, because they think themselves to be so correct in their understanding of Prophecy, that their minds are closed about being wrong and that will be the undoing of those that follow that faith.

CARM is a Christian apologetics ministry.
They have many articles critiquing Adventism.
Steve Bannon shared a powerful testimony about how this book transformed the life of a former inmate, highlighting the life-changing impact of faith and the work of Seventh-day Adventists in prisons.
I appreciate the principle of showcasing the good done by various religions versus the opposite of attempting to show all the negative at the expense of the good. I will go so far as to proclaim all Christianity is chock full of the Love of God for us, where man fails is in our Love of God and our fellow man which includes the first great commandment and the second like unto it.
What is lacking in our today is revelation and those in authority to receive it. Namely Apostles and Prophets. That is the means from the beginning that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has used to dispel confusion and spread the truth of God’s dealings with mankind from the days of Adam till the end of time. Confusion on almost all points of doctrine still exists in this world despite having God’s word in the Bible.
We all know that confusion is not a gospel principle, so in my opinion if you fail to seek further light and knowledge and a truthful solution to Christian confusion, where are you?
Ellen G. White = Principal founder of the vegetable diet for controlling evil lust and violent actions. (Meat, Spices, Alcohol are evil)
SDA church was started to salvage the failed Millerite movement and their predictions of the return of Christ in 1843 and 1844.
It’s a cult.
Seventh-day Adventists
= Jehovah’s Witness
= The Unification Church
= Scientology
Is the great controversy a Seventh-day Adventist book?
Christianity is a journey.
I would not be welcome in the church where my journey started nor would I ever want to go back to it.
There is freedom in accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
That freedom is life changing.
If a prisoner finds that freedom in SDA, so be it.
This Christian journey is unique to everyone who follows Christ.
I know I’ll get flamed for saying this, but the SDA is a cult, pure and simple, and Ellen White was a false prophet.
Bwahahaha!
She claimed that the pope was the antichrist (not sure about this one, actually) because the Latin letters in “Vicar of the Son of God” (VICar fILII DeI) that are used as numbers (VIC ILII DI) add up to 666. Problem is that his title is “Vicar of the Son of Man.” And the numbers in “Vicar Filii Dei” ad up to only 660.
The funny part: ELLEN GOVLD VVHITE adds up to 666. (”U” is represented by “V” in Latin, and “W” is represented by “VV”.)
That’s an overly generous description
