First time I heard this song, it was one Saturday night in 1991. I had just turned 17. My family was on our way to meet my cousin who was coming back from the Gulf War. This played on the radio somewhere between Raleigh and the airfield the soldiers were landing at. Dad told me he remembered when it first came out.

It really stuck with me, for some reason. I've been waiting YEARS for this night, to post it to Free Republic :-)

I don’t understand the relevance at all. The earliest date the song mentions is 500 years from now.

1925 will be a great year. I’ll be 89 and still going strong, Take one prescription drug. My MD expects me to live another 11 years.
