ROME, Nov 28 (Reuters) - More than 90% of Italian municipalities are prone to landslides or other natural disasters, the head of the national civil protection agency said in a Monday interview.
“94% of municipalities are at risk of flooding, landslides, coastal erosion,” Fabrizio Curcio told La Stampa newspaper, adding that “all of Italy is at risk.”
Genova is an underrated city in my opinion. And its history (Christopher Columbus, the Republic of Genoa’s heroic role in keeping the Muslim Turks in check etc) is under-appreciated particularly among Americans.
Any palazzo or castello in Italy would be beautiful.
There is one outside of Milan named for my husband’s family.
I won’t be able to travel anymore to see it, but I hope he does.

My husband just retired. I supposedly have family in the Genoa area. We are going in the fall to see if we want to spend a significant amount of time each year there.
Thanks for the link! BUMP for later!
And Happy New Year!
