LOS ANGELES — (AP) — Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reached a divorce settlement, ending one of the longest and most contentious divorces in Hollywood history but not every legal issue between the two.
Jolie and Pitt signed off on a default declaration filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, saying they have entered into a written agreement on their marital and property rights. The settlement was first reported by People magazine.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt,” Jolie's attorney, James Simon, said in a statement. “She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”

Wow!
All the kids this vouple shared, their’s and those
adopted. A wise phrase to both ‘stars’, strike three
and you’re out. “It don’t come easy”.
Awww, think of the unfortunate divorce lawyers whose incomes will now suffer.
I absolutely loved Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Heh, “typical married couple”!
People get crazy.
But I will say, there was one scene I did enjoy:
When I watched it, I didn't enjoy it because as you get older, you realize that people do indeed do crazy things when relationships go on the rocks. I have found that enmity between people who once loved each other to be one of the saddest and most painful things in life to witness.
But there was one scene in that movie that still makes me grin-as they sleep in bed, Kathleen Turner's character gently spooning the snoring Michael Douglas character, you can see her looking at her loudly snoring spouse, and the look on her face seems far and distant, as if she were remembering a time when they didn't hate each other quite so much.
Then suddenly, in an abrupt movement, buries her middle and index finger into the snoring nostrils of her mate!
Eeek!
When I watched “Unbroken” I thought it was...okay. It could have been a GREAT, classic movie...if they had shown what happened to him after the war. Choking his wife in bed. Becoming an alcoholic.
Then being saved by Billy Graham.
And most of all...him going to Japan and forgiving those men who mistreated him brutally.
That could have been one of the greatest movies ever, but...I think they simply dropped the ball there. Those long scenes of them floating on the water could have been significantly shortened to fit in an ending that showed his journey of faith towards God.
To me, it just became another decent movie, when it could have been SO much more.
Just my opinion!
Divorce sux. And is expensive. (From personal experience)
Been there.
“Brangelina” I remember when that was a thing in pop culture.
Don’t stick your dink in crazy. She was a nutcase of the highest order.
Reminds me of Nora Desmond in “Sunset Boulevard”..................
><
Yep. We can hope Brad doesn’t end up like William Holden in that movie.
I have always thought Betty Davis was the most unattractive.
She had huge amounts of work done. She does not look at all like her earliest movies.
Hasn’t she already been through three or four husbands since Pitt?
Tattoed fluzzy…
What I read was that he was raised in a Christian home, but became an atheist, then he witnessed a miracle in a church service and came to the LORD.
Ok thanks
Is she still getting loonier by the day?
Last week, I was able to get about 5 minutes into the Johnny Depp version before I stopped watching it.
I believe it.....I’ve never been very impressed with any of Tim Burton’s movies.....too creepy.
YW
Yes. And the last scene after the chandelier crashes into the foyer and they lay dying, he reaches over to her and she brushes his hand away. She despised him to her last breath. He should have let her go.
