LOS ANGELES — (AP) — Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reached a divorce settlement, ending one of the longest and most contentious divorces in Hollywood history but not every legal issue between the two.
Jolie and Pitt signed off on a default declaration filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, saying they have entered into a written agreement on their marital and property rights. The settlement was first reported by People magazine.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt,” Jolie's attorney, James Simon, said in a statement. “She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”

Jolie had ‘Mia Farrow-Fever”,
where one former spouse dedicates the rest of their life to destroying the peace, social standing and financial stability of their ex-spouse.
Woody Allen understands.
So does former Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider.
I’d say both.
I hope they get back together. My favorite “Hollywood” couple. Find them both very likable and love Angelina’s acting (and directing!) in particular. She just has this depth and intelligence that sets her apart from other mainstream actresses. And it’s what draws me to her.
He was phenomenal in “Twelve Monkeys” with Bruce Willis and Christopher Plummer.
That’s true.
Let's hope they don't. Why screw up a very classic movie and cast?
“I can sleep at night now”
That’s a relief...I was worried
“”My favorite Brad Pitt performance was in Johnny Suede.””
I’m not familiar with that - will have to check it out.. thanks.
“”He was great as Wardaddy in “Fury.” One of my favorite movies.””
Another one I’m not familiar with - will check it out...
Nothing personal but WHO CARES?
Yes--I also liked "Bullet Train"
“Changeling” - starring Jolie and directed by Clint Eastwood is really good. And also quite good in the latest film about the late opera singer Maria Callas. It’s in some theaters but should be on streaming soon too.
“Why screw up a very classic movie and cast?”
Because hollyweird is out of ideas.
“WHO CARES?”
I guess you do since you took the time to comment. Lol!
Plus the studios are reluctant to greenlit a movie unless it's a sequel or a remake. They're extremely risk adverse because it's so we expensive to make a new movie nowadays.
“”Yes—I also liked “Bullet Train””
I missed more of his movies than I thought...some catching up to do..”Legends of the Fall” was another one - I do remember that. Maybe first one?? Or first to get a lot of publicity and a great supporting cast also helped!
When Gene Wilder was asked what he thought about Tim Burtons remake of Wlly Wonka all he could say was “why?”
Bingo Hollywood usually only good for a 5 year run.
Take the money a haul leave ego at home.
Pitt was also great in Kaifornia.
He played a tremendous dirt bag character named Early.
In the movie Snatch he played a prize fighting Gypsy.
Twelve Monkeys he was great in.
He was also really good in A River Runs Through it
