Election Night 1994 was truly one for the ages. I still gleefully recall the media talking heads consoling one another, trying to figure out what went wrong.
And it took them maybe and hour, to realize it wasn’t incumbents that were taking a beating nationwide in the House, but DEMONRAT incumbents.
It was like, “Huh, what? Oh crap, I didn’t notice THAT!”
I remember the talking point when George W. Bush won re-election in 2004: “They voted against their own interests!”
