Even in the midst of all of the chaos and turmoil that we are witnessing in our society right now, God is on the move.
Large numbers of young people have been giving their lives to Jesus and getting baptized on college campuses all over the country, and Bible sales are way up in 2024. In fact, it is being reported that through the month of October Bible sales in the U.S. were 22 percent higher than last year…
Bible sales rose 22% through October compared to the same period last year, according to data released this month by Circana Bookscan. Total U.S. print book sales were only up 1%, according to The Wall Street Journal, which first reported the trend.

I had an encouraging experience last night. I was driving through an area of town near me where I knew that a “gay” nightclub was located. As I drove past it, I noticed that is was dark and shuttered - completely closed. Another “gentleman’s club” which has been in the area for a long time was also shuttered, with a for-sale sign in front.
I’d like to think that the spirit of the age is changing, or maybe even subsiding out of public view. Perhaps this is more the influence of the proliferation of hook-up apps, making these localized meat markets irrelevant. But I see it as a good development.
If true then the Gen Z and Gen Alpha folks give hope to the future of the US Republic.

And guess what? Yes, it is a move of the Holy Spirit, but God is also using that loud, wild Christian music that so many of you think is so wrong, to speak to young people! Pay attention to the words. That’s where the truth lay.

The only thing that counts is the individual's permanent total convincement of the mind-changing information (repentance=belief) that unites one's soul and spirit to the Jesus of the Bible.
What does count is the change of behavior that results when one exercises permanent freedom from obeying the sin principle and an unceasing eternal union with Christ.
A water baptism is the rite of induction of a recuit by and into the Company of The Committed whose Captain is Jesus, The Messiah of the Bible.
