America is so much like the ancient church of Ephesus. They had stars, golden candlesticks, a fight against evil and liars and were commended by Jesus Christ for all of that.
But Christ warned them that they had “left their first love. (Rev 2:4)

“As long as children are still aborted, led to the gay life, transgendered, trafficked, told they can actually marry their own gender, and taught to hate their own country – MAGA will not be up to par, and the great Golden Age will become the great golden non-sequitur.”
It has taken many, many years for this country to devolve into it’s current state. It will take many more to right the ship.
humm, Brother. imho, wrt Musk and Ram, yours is the most important and relevant post on the problem with ‘American Culture’ on the FR front page. unfortunately it seemingly is the one most neglected.
a few quick points/facts from my wife and i and our experience of American (specifically Californian) HS in the 70’s into the early 80’s (the last point where the great changes came).
1. All our consequential and best teachers were male, or female in ‘male’ fields like history and math. this was probably the last generation of teachers who were male.
2. the pay for HS teachers was working class or less: 12 to 15 dollars per hour. thus HS teaching was a labor of love for mostly men in CA public schools back then. some of these men were active Christians in civic life although they didn’t broadcast it to students.
3. all the men, were actively engaging us to prepare for adult hood. the lessons and talk were all about launching us into the American working class and it’s responsibilities. their concern was preparing us for adult and civic life ahead. how to behave on the job, how to perform, present, interact, etc. less with academic content.
4. college was a secondary concern for them although they (mostly men) quickly recognized talent and aptitude for such and promoted it among young men and women.
5. Athletics and extra-curricular stuff like orchestra and band were very still much encouraged and supported in HS at that point. rules and standards of behavior were enforced.
6. God and Jesus were present on campus and even though my wife and I weren’t Christian at that point because our parents weren’t active in the churches, many of our friends and peers (especially in athletics and extra curricular groups and clubs) were actively participating in what was rapidly becoming a sub-culture in American HS. we benefited indirectly from the Christian subculture via participation in stuff that was part and parcel of HS life at that point. i.e., what and who the rebels called ‘square’ back in the day.
7. teachers unions were non-existent or inconsequential back then. i never saw or heard of a teacher’s strike in my time in HS. the teachers were always there in class except for rare sick absences and substitutes were a rare occurrence. student attendance was constantly encouraged.
drawing my conclusions from these facts (you can draw your own if you lived at that time like us), when that all of the above went away or reversed in HS, was the start of our so called ‘cultural problems.’ no amount H1B style import programs can solve any of that God shaped hole, ‘Ephesus’ problem, imho.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Why is Jesus knocking at the door of his own church?
Because Jesus is not in the TYPICAL church in this the last age of the church.
There are churches that have allowed the SATANIC holiday traditions of Halloween into their churches as well as desecrate Resurrection Sunday with "Easter" traditions of Babylonian fertility symbols of eggs and bunnies.
Mark 7:13 By your traditions, you make void the Word of God.
My ancestors helped to found and build a church in 1850's America.
I am certain Halloween traditions as well as Babylonian traditions were not allowed inside that church.
I’ll review this.
