Mozilla used to brand itself as the non-activist browser. It was supposed to be the browser that didn’t snoop or didn’t try to steer your opinion.

There are thousands and thousands of “activist” web sites/podcasts/videos that push leftist propaganda and fight for the same audience.
They have to compete with the leftist mainstream media as well.
It is a doom loop.

I used to like Firefox.
I dropped it about a decade ago when I found out it was run by a bunch of Lefty/Marxists. They did a very good job of hiding it. Seems they’ve decided to drop the mask now.

One fascinating aspect of this is that only leftist sites claim to be fighting “misinformation”.
Everybody else is just doing the best they can to figure out what is going on out there.

Mozilla’s financial death is well deserved.

The logo looks like a screenshot from a 1976 version of PONG?
That’s too bad

It will be interesting to see if “We’re going to control everything you see” is a viable commercial approach. I wouldn’t bet on it.

Mozilla’s rebranding director describes her client as “a trailblazing, activist organization in both its mission and its approach…. The new brand presence captures this uniqueness, reflecting Mozilla’s refreshed strategy to ‘reclaim the internet.’ The modern, digital-first identity system is all about building real brand equity that drives innovation, acquisition and stands out in a crowded market.” The only thing 'equity' drives is mediocrity but Ms. Rebrand Director DOES a PhD: Piled Higher and Deeper.

That means the misinformation funding is all they’ve got left to go for

Just did a search for Firefox alternatives ,LOL

The new logo looks like an 80s Atari depiction of an ostrich.
Only, where’s the sand its head should be buried in?
Used to use Firefox until a decade ago when the founder had to resign under pressure from employees and others for his previous donation against the legalization of so-called same-sex marriage.
