On December 19th, the Wall Street Journal published “How the White House functioned with a diminished Biden in charge” outlining their, the Biden Cabinet, the DNC, Democrat Donors, Kamala Harris, and the legacy media’s long-held awareness from the earliest days of his “presidency" that Joe Biden’s mental capacities had waned.
To put it bluntly, they lied. They then proceeded to gaslight anyone with a functioning brain that what we were seeing with our own eyes were “cheapfakes.” Yet, another conspiracy theory come to conspiracy fact.
The question must be asked -- who was running the country?
Was it Dr. Jill? Barack Obama? His strategically placed minions? George/Alex Soros? Maybe some globalist cabal, operating in the shadows? Likely, all the above.
Of course they lied. They lied to their base. To their voters. They played you all for stupid. They convinced you that Joe was doing a good job, that he was fit as a fiddle, that, according to Joe Scarborough -- "F-you if you can't handle the truth." This version of Biden "Is the best Biden ever."
My Democrat friends -- don’t you feel a little uneasy that they so easily played you for stooges?
Do you know what else they lied to you about? Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. Donald Trump is not a threat to democracy. Donald Trump is not a convicted felon (outside of the sham cases brought in Atlanta, D.C., and the Southern District of New York). Donald Trump is not a racist. Donald Trump is not a fascist. Donald Trump is not going to round up blacks and Hispanics and lock them in internment camps. Donald Trump is not going to sign a national ban on abortion. Donald Trump is not going to start World War III.

The only reason political parties still exist is to give voters the illusion of choice.
A pol, a citizen is either loyal to our former republic or to Deep State.
The vast majority of our pols, our bureacrats from BOTH parties are Deep State.
As for our fellow citizens...

If Deep State’s base, especially registered Dems, still voted in lockstep with Deep State, then Deep State wouldn’t have to steal elections, would it.

Although I do think it’s a good idea to reach out to disenfranchised Democrats, the “tone” of this article is not going to be very welcoming to those on the fence.
“Hey dumbasses aren’t you tired of being a dumbass?” - although factually accurate, we aren’t winning hearts and minds with that.

I’d say many were willing stooges. Orange man / Republicans bad as the Media and the Pelosi’s of the world told the knuckle dragging masses.They couldn’t rationalize beyond that.

I agree. Willing stooges. They wanted to disbelieve what they were seeing. It’s a psychological defense against the discomfort of cognitive dissonance.
By appealing to the weak-minded peoples’ need to (a) feel superior, and (b) be an accepted part of a group, they easily manipulate those people to embracing those ideas they promote to the consumer to feel they are part of the intelligent and accepted crowd. They have mastered the art of discouraging people from straying from the group norms, and “mean girl”-ing anyone who goes ahead and gets too far away.
Look at their language. If someone from within the group says anything not approved, it's “I thought better of you”, which prays on need for approval.
Ostracizing those who leave the group, and demonizing enemies, without addressing ideas, are social methods, not intellectual methods.
We see that on the conservative side as well, (and at FR from time to time) but that comes across as trollish behavior, rather than designed to effectively manipulate the majority.
