Trump is not God. He is human and will make mistakes.
The defeated bill spent the exact same amount of money as the bill the day before.
The legislative branch has co equal power as the executive branch. It’s just a fact and Trump needs to deal with them as they serve at the pleasure of their constituents and not at the pleasure of Trump.
Trump should learn from Reagan who had a democratic House to deal with throughout his entire 8 year tenure. A small minority is difficult at best to deal with. With Gaetz gone and Stefanik and Walz gone when confirmed, the House will be 217 to 215. The Rs will need to have everyone voting unanimously together. What if someone gets sick or has to go back to their district with a family emergency. Eventually those seats will get filled, but it will take time.
