Until this nonsense blows over, I am not going flying at night in one of our airplanes. People's imaginations are getting the best of them, even on this forum.
Bored deer hunters put a hole thru my Cherokee Six 300, way back in the mid 90’s. Passenger side flap. I only knew after we landed and climbed out the Cherokee door out onto the wing root. Got a replacement from Wentworth Salvage for $200. The rigging had to be signed off for recertification after I had the local FBO fix it. A real pain in the butt. I should just have used some JB Weld, some sanding, and a can of spray paint.
