I’m not insulted although I can see how my open mindedness is making me vulnerable to opposition.

Full disclosure. Before I retired from writing I was a contributor to The Hefley Report (but only about astronomy), Beyond Reality and others plus I wrote “Swamp Gas Or Flying Objects” a perhaps overlong Sunday newspaper feature on J. Allen Hynek and the Michigan UFO sightings.

Just open minded. Not a true believer.

About those alleged “butt probes” there is a tie in with the dogs.
A magazine cartoon had dogs in business suits trying to impress an obviously high status dog at a party. One in the center of a group of them was told:
“Sir, it has been an honor sniffing your rear.”
