My headline is exactly what was published in The Mid Hudson News. I do not agree with much of what they say. But the point on the whole post was not the minute details of the airport shutdown, my point was that the NY Governor is demanding the passage of a federal bill which was presumably authored before this “crisis”.
Sure, no big deal, it’s just a National Guard Airbase as well as general aviation.

Wasn’t Stewart where the late night migrant flights were going? Maybe this isn’t a bad thing to shut it down.
