That's an excellent point. Some scientists have suggested that UFOs are holograms of a sort. Interdimensional. Part image (like a drive-in movie projected on a screen) and part material—just barely poking in from a parallel dimension.

I didn’t get sprayed, sucked up, shot at, vaporized or otherwise even mildly inconvenienced by the one I saw and it was close enough to bother me if it wanted to and there not another soul around or awake to witness it.
