I have the records! Bought in the 1960s! All in perfect shape no problems!
Then I lent them to my sister.
When I got them back, they sounded like a breakfast cereal! “Snap, crackle, POP!” amidst all that music.

If you still have them and they are aren’t brittle, there are videos on youtube that will show you how to recover vinyl records from the snap-crackle-pop. Watch them first, but IIRC they use either wood glue or Elmers to get down into the grooves to remove the micro-grit.
