Hmm, lets see if we can figure this out. They’re mainly flying around USAF bases. They aren’t harming anyone. They’ve kindly installed FAA lights. Our allies in the UK are flying them, too. They took off for Thanksgiving. Yep, space aliens or goat herders, definitely. Or maybe they are ours and this is a game of ours is bigger than yours to perhaps peacefully stop WWIII or at least we’re getting in some training. It isn’t as if the military is going to fill us in on all their top secret projects.

Actually those are us too, we are protecting our own U.S. assets there. It is all logical.
The fact that the USAF hasn't scrambled fighter jets to escort them away or shoot them down suggests that the USAF knows they are not a threat. In all likelihood, they are USAF assets.
