Me, too. It's horrible. The vertigo and nausea are like nothing I've ever experienced. And I'm someone who can be perfectly happy on a pitching boat in rough seas, but the violent (perceived) spinning in Meniere's just lays me out. The only way to lessen the violent vertigo of a severe attack is to stay in bed, but you can't stay in bed for the whole day.

Fortunately, mine is (mostly!) controlled with couple of off-label drugs. I've also found that a fairly high dose of NSAIDs (aspirin, ibuprofen, etc.) can tame an active episode.

Add me to the list but the dizzy spells are mild. The constant noise in my ears is a ringing\white noise kind of sound. Some days it is difficult to make out words but my wife would say that is everyday. ;)

My old man has it as well.

Would you mind sharing with me what drugs you are taking? My doctor has prescibed Triamterene.
