US President-elect Donald Trump did not send an invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin for his inauguration in January, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed.
"No, he didn’t send an invitation," the spokesman said, News.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Previously, the CBS News TV channel reported citing its sources that Trump invited Chinese leader Xi Jinping to the inauguration. The Chinese embassy in Washington has not yet confirmed this report to TASS. According to the TV channel, several high-ranking foreign representatives are expected to attend the ceremony, potentially including Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Bibi and Xi are the only ones so far.
President Vladimir Putin is in a special club with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu they are both wanted as ‘war criminals’ by the International Criminal Court.
President Trump will be taking attendance.
What's your point?
It’s a good point to make both leaders lead IMHO and use military power to demonstrate their leadership.
And there are those that hate them for putting the interests of their countries first by using military force.
Putin got snubbed like a dog.
One other point they both know in their hearts that Ukrainian nationalists are Nazis one wages war on them the other does not supply them with weapons to wage war with.
> Putin got snubbed like a dog. <
No, it’s just common sense on Trump’s part. Trump will eventually be negotiating a peace deal between Putin and Zelenskyy. So it’s best to keep both men at arm’s length.
If Trump invited one man but not the other then I’d be concerned.
Putin’s days of being able to travel to the civilized world are long gone.
> Putin’s days of being able to travel to the civilized world are long gone. <
Yes, indeed. It’s something that I should have mentioned. Aside from that international arrest warrant nonsense, Putin has to be concerned about a coup if he leaves the country.
When the cat’s away the mice will play.
We should discourage Netanyahu’s presence at our president’s
inauguration since he would surely endanger our president.
Trump needs to be protected since he’s already been the victim of two assassination attempts.
Poor Mr Netanyahu is also a target. Netanyahu is said to be in court answering charges of fraud, breach of trust, and bribery. Other charges against Netanyahu include receiving bribes and acting in a conflict of interest as Minister of Communications.
Pending investigations include Netanyahu altering details about Oct 7——whether Mr. Netanyahu knew in advance of Hamas’s invasion, and exactly when he was told. Expected to play a key part in a postwar assessment of Netanyahu’s role in one of the worst military failures in Israel’s history.
Netanyahu at our president’s inaugural would be an easy target for his many enemies.
Americans would feel better if Netanyahu stayed in Israel.
Ex Syrian President Assad ruefully nods in agreement with your statement.
Xi’s gonna be disappointed with the lack of military parade and goose stepping fags.
Most rational people would say Putin’s not much of a threat to us but Xi Jinping is the biggest threat to us. Why invite him?
Yep
Goose stepping fags are what we have, unfortunately.
