Loved my Rx-3 12a engine, made a great race car.
I had an RX-7 with a 12a - car went in excess of 250,000 - I thought the engine died because a seal failed (lost oil)
The guy that bought the car from me revived the engine - and then he sold it again
Best $12,000 car I had
We had an RX-3 wagon for a few years. I remember it was fast, backfired a lot, and got terrible gas mileage for a subcompact.
I never got to drive it as my folks traded it off before I got my license. Too bad, it had a five speed, and an eight-track tape deck!
