I “discovered” God in nursing school. When I studied the endocrine system and saw how freakin PERFECT it was, the way cells communicate I realized there was intelligence in it all. A designer. God. I’ve often wondered how scientists are not the most religious among us. There have been several prominent physicists who abandoned their reflexive atheism for a belief in God as a result of their research insights into the structure of subatomic particles and the universe.

I’m pleased to learn that- though I was generalizing. I expect as time reveals more there will be fewer hard-core atheists in science.
