I’ve been watching this guy’s channel lately and he really seems to know his stuff.

I saw this video the other day, he really has some shocking things to say about Toyota.

He also has some great tips on how to handle negotiations at a dealership......one big thing, never go to the dealership until you’ve negotiated all your terms on line (text or email) and have everything in writing.

Really smart IMO.

What was he saying about Toyota? My impression is they’re the quality champ right now.

I have a 2020 Tacoma and it’s perfect.

$40k new, V6 with tow package.

a quarter century ago I devised a simple technique for buying cars that’s STILL talked about in the BMW community. It works for all brands I’ve tried it on. (Which is a A LOT).

Two rules when buying a new car:

  1. Sell your trade in yourself and get best price for it.
  2. Make the dealer an offer, not the other way around. Know what you want to pay. When I start to negotiate the sale and they start with their best deal etc. I stop them and say I am going to make you an offer.
