At the end of the day anything even resembling some variation of “verifiable evidence” is highly compartmentalized/classified and there is no way any Pentagon spokesperson would be permitted access to it.
It is a circular situation—by definition there cannot be disclosure until there is disclosure.
Then the definition of “verifiable” and the criteria for verification is itself disclosed.
Everything from official sources before that moment is just word salad.
