Hello all, PRAYERS AND ANY MEDICAL INFORMATION NEEDED!
My DIL, a healthy 50yo, got a fever 3 days ago, earache and headache. My son took her to ER, they took a swab, told her she didn’t have Covid and there was stuff going around and to go home and take Motrin.
Next Dat she was feeling worse, so he took her to urgent care and they took blood for lab work. Yesterday morning the doctor called and said he to ER immediately as her kidneys weren’t functioning.
They admitted her, her spleen was swollen 50%, now this morning her liver is shutting down, her kidneys are at 50% and she’s in ICU. She’s red and eyes yellow. They don’t know what’s causing this.
I appreciate all prayers, for her and my son.
Correction, her kidneys are at 10%.
Her dad and sister are flying in, and I told my son to call her pastor to come visit and pray for her if he can.
Prayers for your daughter in law and son. May God protect her health and give strength and comfort to your family.
Rusty, kidney failure can cause the fever, earache, and headache.
Does anyone know what happened before she went to the ER? Does she take supplements or drink certain teas? Did she eat something unusual?
It initially seems something happened to cause the kidneys to shut down, which brought on the rest. Do note I am not a doctor, but I am just logically following what you have provided.
God, thank you for giving Rusty0604, time and again, the strength to see her through and persevere the burdens, trials and tribulations that have come her way.
We ask that you continue to protect her and her family with Your unbounded love.
We ask, in Jesus’s name, that You lighten her load and ease these burdens, if it be Thy will.

Thanks Judy for posting and thank you all for prayers. This was so sudden and unexpected, really reminds us of living and being our best every day. And thanking God for every precious moment!
I don’t know if they have figured out the cause yet, haven’t talked to my son in 3 hours. I read that even an untreated infection can cause organ failure. But she wasn’t feeling well just a few days. Doctor was not happy the ER didn’t even do lab work.
I pray she pulls through, it’s scary but she’s a normally healthy person, gets exercise and no bad habits.
Still praying for all here with sickness in the family.
