Before the negotiating starts, they’ll tell you how much they don’t need you or any deal.
A perfect example.....from the movie “One, Two, Three”

You apparently do not comprehend my point. This isn’t about “losing Ukraine” (per se), or Pooty being a tyrant. It is about whether nuclear blackmail succeeds. If it does, well, nothing succeeds like success, and the future has 2 possibilities: Slavery (except for the baddest ass blackmailer who comes out on top), or more likely, some alternate version of the scenario at your link. Probably with a lot more nukes involved if things develop slower rather than faster.
It doesn’t have to be all. 10% is more than enough to fight a very large, very ugly guerilla war, esp. given the advent of stealthy, autonomous drones.
10 % at most of the colonists who became the USA actually materially participated in the Revolution, and far fewer than that actually shot at the British.

You appear to fallaciously imply that because Zelenskyy supported Harris, Putin must have opposed her and supported Trump. This doesn't logically follow. They don't have to support opposing candidates simply because they are adversaries. They both could have chosen to support the weaker, less cabable candidate in Harris.
Nice try. I’m right and you know it.
“Russia should KEEP what it’s taken over....”
>>>>>>>>>>>><
Why do you talk like a criminal?
Your comment “Russia should KEEP what it’s taken over....” is like saying to “Summer of Love rioters” in America...: just loot, burn, and steal then KEEP what you have stolen!
Are you pro-thievery? Why?
Russia has stolen about 20% of Ukraine, 20% of Georgia and quite a large area in Moldova. Why appease such behavior?
Thievery is a criminal act.
Do you want want to abolish and defund the police in America as well? Making sure thieves can roam around more freely and commit even more crimes?
Oh, stuff it. The US defense budget is at an almost historically low % of GDP. If you want to rail against a defense industry being an outsize part of an economy, look right at Russia.
“Oh, stuff it. The US defense budget is at an almost historically low % of GDP”
You didn’t even make me prove that you are a moron, you did it all by yourself. Service on our debt is now larger that our annual defense budget and we cannot afford to spend more.
One observes your reply lacks any citations. Ergo your grade school level response. A fine model of what some think -- per the Daily Mail title -- that "negotiation" is. One way of the other.
This suggests there will be gnarled negotiations at best.
But there is one thing..... Why is Trump now to be responsible for solving the Ukraine-Russia war? Why not Europe first? Let the EU lead this time.
A likely answer: like the old image of that tar baby, the non-Trump world -- everyone else and Democrats and some RINOs -- want Trump to become embroiled.
But as to being "right," Zelensky campaigned for Harris. Proven with citations.
It doesn’t matter what Trump might threaten Ukraine with, they will never give up the land Russia has stolen from them, for to do so would make every Ukrainian soldiers death meaningless.
Russia however will eventually cave and give back most if not all of what they took with the possible exception of Crimea.
Russia is really the only one Trump would have any major ability to threaten. Ukraine does not have to have American money or equipment, when the rest of Europe is more than willing to help in that regards.
Appear? I implied nothing. I demonstrated with hotlinks that Zelenksy campaigned for Harris.
Putin, Zelenksy and a host of European "leaders" opposed/oppose Trump. Many of those European leaders also supported Harris. As did much of the European press, of which Daily Mail is one of the many. No fallacy there.

Indeed. Russia’s imperialist war-costs against its victims is now at 32.5% (!!!) of its entire national budget.
Jesus Christ...
Imagine if America oriented 32.5% of its entire budget for wars in the middle east and elsewhere... That would create a revolution in America. I wonder what wildcard_wedneck thinks about that?
Telling the future with future tense verbs is wondrous. The pandemic folks did it. The climate change folks do it still.
I'll wait for President Trump to do as he will do after 20 January.
Very happy that Zelensky's candidate -- Harris -- lost the election.
While the "Lord's name in vain" seems lost on you, here are some citations of the above, suggesting you read one AP article which made errors.
"Russia is hiking state spending on national defence by a quarter in 2025 to 6.3% of gross domestic product (GDP), the highest levels since the Cold War, according to draft budget documents published on Monday."Your habit of not citing your sources is noted, as is the misuse of a Name, as above.Russia hikes 2025 defence spending by 25% to a new post-Soviet high Reuters, 30 September 2024
"The Russian government has announced its proposed budget for 2024. For the first time in modern history, the country is set to spend 6 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) on the military, and defense spending will exceed social spending. The war against Ukraine and the West is not only the Kremlin's biggest priority; it is now also the main driver of Russia's economic growth."

Yes, they did have nukes. Quit acting foolish.
When the USSR died all materials in other lands were immediately controlled by that other land. Yeah, the successor can petition for recovery. But, possession = 9/10ths of law.
It was the Western powers that bribed Uk to surrendering its nukes. with assurances. Which are precisely the crappola you would expect.
As to getting sub nukes off board. No problem. Just reverse assembly. Don’t bother with delivery system, that is irrelevant. Use them as mines or put them in a truck.
