As a first action, I hope he documents all the BS and delivers that data to Congress as the situation develops. Let the likes of Collins, McConnell, and Murkowski try to defend bureaucrats getting in the way of national defense, publically, now.

Untrue. The NSA can get any of those. However, without a duly authorized FISA warrant, it would be illegal, as it was back in 2016.
I’ve been searching that pesky constitution thingie and I can’t find gsa, fbi, or doj anywhere in that document.
I also can’t seem to find where they can force a new president to sign or adhere to any of their demands.

Article II: “The executive power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.”
That means the existence of everyone else in the exec branch is at the pleasure of the President.
Civil Service, the creation of Congress, cannot impede the President’s authority.
