Paul never addressed himself as *Father Paul*, nor did anyone else in Scripture.
It staggers the mind the rationalization Catholics use to justify disobeying a clear, concise, direct command of Jesus.
No, but he did call himself father. Was Paul disobeying Jesus? And if Jesus was just talking about the word, what do you call your mother's husband? What staggers the mind is reducing our Lord's teaching about a relationship to the mere use of a word.
