The democRATs want insanity to be cool again.
And they’re all self-perceived victims in search of a villain to point their bony finger at.
The first time I heard the phrase “culture war” was from Pat Buchanan. Back then, America as a Christian nation was under attack by the multiculturalists, atheists and communists. The left adopted the tactics of the Maoist Red Guard to impose conformity. Thank God for Trump. People rallied around his utter contempt for the left. Trump is half Buchanan and half Reagan. He has given us a breather for a few years.
I get some e-mail occasionally that seem to suggest the writer thinks I am a staunch supporter of the Democrat party. Let them think that if they wish, but I don’t know where they got that idea. I think “climate change” & “green energy” are phoney baloney & need not even be mentioned in our culture. I don’t agree with enough of Democrat policy to even discuss it normally. Of course, the whole idea is that they want donations for the party, which they won’t get from me. Now I won’t come out & say that I think a Democrat is “filth” because I don’t believe that was the original intent of the party, but much has changed with in politics since those times too. I guess it’s because I am old & maybe old- fashioned, but I remember the old days of Harry Truman & JFK & think of those as “better days” in our history.
