Yup. I stayed home and raised ours.
I had worked up until we got married and moved. Then I finished up my degree and started a family. I was more than
happy to leave the rat race and I didn’t have a *career* it was a full time job and yet there was still with work nonsense to put up with.
Staying home, raising and homeschooling the kids was immensely satisfying.
People forget the old adage of *The hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world*.
I’m proud father of eight home schooled kids. My wife is the rock star. She could probably double our family income if she went into corporate America but is much more valuable staying home and fighting to raise godly kids. We just spent thanksgiving with my four siblings and their government raised children. The addictions, depression and anxiety among my nieces and nephews was heart breaking. But I didn’t say a word to my siblings. Years ago my sister told me my kids were going to be “so fu€king weird!’ when we argued about homeschooling vs public schools. Her kids can outdrink most of their peers. Mine are far from perfect but they are full of joy and know what is most important in life.
