What about, good, old-fashioned COMMON SENSE?
I’ll bet they could really use some of that in DC.
“What about, good, old-fashioned COMMON SENSE?”
That is a small part of how things work in the federal govenment. And only for the very obvious points.
It takes years of learning rules and regulations, tendancies, and how to assess what can be done that can normally take care of the immediate problem.
Look at ecology. Since cars create the most polution, get rid of them is the answer. So we go to electric by 2050 even though it is far less effective and costs more in the long run besides making us energy dependent by shutting down the petroleum and spending it on batteries from China. And the people who made that decision will be long gone when it happens. Any common sense there? But we were heading that way and the people that made the decision figured out how to get voted in. And part of that was making us energy dependent to a product we were leaving in the ground here. Make some sense of that one. And that’s just ecology.
