Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu said on Tuesday that the United States should pay for the reconstruction of Afghanistan, which is now ruled by the fanatical Islamists of the Taliban as a human rights nightmare.
“We discussed further cooperation across all areas. This includes economic issues, as well as detailed discussions on transportation. We addressed everything related to trade and discussed a major energy deal, all of which have promising prospects,” Shoigu said after a meeting with Taliban leaders in Kabul.
“The topic of the United States was also raised, as it continues to plunder everything and everyone with impunity. The issue concerned the return of assets and funds that belong solely to the Afghan people. As with Libya and Syria, the U.S. refuses to return them,” Shoigu continued.
“In my opinion, the United States should invest in the reconstruction of Afghanistan after everything it has done and abandoned there. This applies to everything: the needs of the people, rebuilding facilities, and restoring infrastructure,” he said.
Shoigu said Taliban leaders asked for help lifting the pressure of U.S. sanctions during their meeting, and he told them Russia was in their corner.

Putin is trying to use the situation of Taliban/Afghanistan (which refused to sign over Bin Laden to the U.S. after 9/11) as analogous to the destruction in Ukraine caused by Putin’s agression.
Oh, hell no.
They waited until Trump was elected to make these demands?
It might have worked with the demented one.

Here's a take on the Shoigu remarks -- Epic trolling.
Given the calls for Russia to re-build Ukraine at some time in the future -- all the while JP Morgan and Blackrock have actual "catalytic capital" contracts towards the work at over $500 billion -- this is "sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander" time.
Of course it won't happen, but the trolling seems the aim.
More as to Blackrock and "catalytic capital" BS, they are laying out their games too. Trolling for money and lots of it. ALTÉRRA , for example, is playing the same game.
Trolling for money. Trolling for fun. Rather like the British media so favored in posts in the last months. Rather like some posting in the last months on a single theme. Trolling.
We only rebuild countries that we beat. They should rebuild us.
All the help we need to give Taliban is the billions od dollars of military equipment. They can sell it to other terrorist orgs or something and make money with that.
In my book, that’s called a “non-starter.”
