My tip is not necessary but, if you fry your turkey on the concrete, any oil spillover will be there a while, like maybe a year or so. The best place to do your turkey is on a gravel driveway.

In my turkey frying days I would spread cardboard around the fryer to catch splatter, as I was usually out on our concrete driveway.

Cat litter or dry concrete/Portland mix as an absorbent works.
