Shifting your same daily calories to earlier in the day can help with glucose and A1C readings.

Not me. I get up at 13:00 and go to bed at 04:00.

Maybe if you’re on a, “normal” day cycle. I’m practically nocturnal.

I've actually learned this in the past few months.

I've suffered from some stomach problems and no longer eat past 4pm. It has helped my glucose and stomach issues immensely...

I basically eat small meals every three hours and stop by 4pm!

I’m a grazer throughout the day - light dinner between 3:30 - 4;30

I’m thin and never have dinner before 7 p.m.
Healthy as they come.

The forgot to mention daylight savings time. And the changing of daylight following the time of year. Nope- It just 5PM plain and simple. That is how you know the study is BS.

Not to mention other variables like when a person gets up or goes to bed.

Doesn’t seem to bother the Italians, who eat dinner after 7:30PM.

“Doesn’t seem to bother the Italians, who eat dinner after 7:30PM.”

Maybe it does and we don’t know it. :-).

I don’t know about glucose, but if I eat after about 5pm I don’t sleep well. We eat around 9am and 4pm.

The study included 26 participants between the ages of 50 and 70 who were overweight or obese, and had prediabetes or type 2 diabetes....

That would skew any test results. That’s 26 walking (if they even can walk) disasters.

Eating dinner after 5pm is common for the majority of people and also the largest meal of the day. There’s far to many discrepancies in this study to even consider it.

I think it's the food: much better quality, lots of olive oil. Seems easier to digest.

Real Italian food is much different than the Italian American variety.

I think you’re right. My cousin is a minister in Italy. When they visit back in the US they criticize the “Italian” food here. We thought they were just being uppity, but they probably were right.

And the Obama Regime determined who was overweight or obese. As a Type 2, I eat after taking my BS, if low, I need to eat when I get my coffee. Super 4 pm, 7 pm Siggi yogurt 110 calories, cane sugar, not the nasty fructose, and fruit puree with skim milk + Probiotics. Lost 30 lbs. Doc dropped my Humalog too.

They are pushing those GASTRO DESTRUCTIVE WEIGHT LOSS SHOTS.

Cured a 20 year Nexium need with Apple Cider Vinegar with Mothers in my water, about a tsp or to taste. 6 months free of 40 mg Nexium.

Can you elaborate a little? What is “Mothers”? I’ve been on omeprazole for about 20 years. I would like to get off of it if I could.

So the study’s participants ate the same food just at different times, but in the very next sentence they say eating later correlated with more carbohydrates and fat? Both these statements cannot be true.

Gail means that the apple cider vinegar has the particulate left in it, as described here:

Thanks for the link! I’ll have to check with my hepatologist to see if it clashes with anything I’m already taking.
