I recall a passenger on a plane whose name was Patricia Cornwall. She noticed an elderly man eating his meal and not wearing a mask. She screamed at him to mask up, then went ballistic when he simply ignored all her barked orders.
A flight attendant had to hold her back from left hooking the old man.
Morons obeyed.

“Social distancing” and mask wearing were both tried during the 1918 flu pandemic. It wasn’t imposed nationally but some cities did make it mandatory. That’s where they got the idea during Covid.
Some cities sealed themselves off in 1918 and managed to escape the flu. That’s one that wasn’t tried this time as far as I know.
