Just a funny story and I’ll keep it short. There was a drug house in my patio home neighborhood. I wrote a letter to the chief of police. One morning when I went to work (still dark) a blacked out SUV was parked on the street; very, very suspicious. I told my wife to call the police and she watched as the police conducted a full felony stop on the SUV. The SUV was occupied by two undercover police who were watching the house I had complained about. Oops.
I live in a very quiet, nice community (that is rapidly being overrun by apartment complexes that are changing the nature of my town).
I'm on a quiet dead-end street, but I noticed all manner of traffic traveling up and down the street at very peculiar hours. Having had a long experience as an addict, (although recovered for well over 13 years) I correctly identified a particular house at the end of this dead-end as a possible 'drug trap'.
Well wouldn't you know it. About 3-6 months after I noticed, I saw a local township police van, with full markings, parked outside the house on the street for about 48 hours.
And a further shocker: Those renters left the property in about a month. I saw the U-haul vans.

Even in a small town, they should have something, especially since it is smaller.
