The former United States President attended the show at Rogers Center in Toronto
Former President Bill Clinton recently joined the millions captivated by Taylor Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour, attending her Toronto show at Rogers Centre last weekend with his wife Hillary Clinton, their daughter Chelsea Clinton, and granddaughter Charlotte.
Bill Clinton is a Swiftie
Clinton reflected on the experience during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark Monday, admitting it was his first time seeing the pop icon live.
When asked about the outing by co-host Kelly Ripa, he enthusiastically confirmed, "I did, I did!"
A video clip aired during the segment showed the 78-year-old politician dancing from a VIP suite as Swift performed her 2008 hit "You Belong with Me."
Clinton didn't hold back his admiration for the singer's stamina and dedication.
"She's not like a lot of people who do concerts," he said.
"She did three hours-plus straight. I mean, straight through! She just kept on singing the songs and kept on doing it, which I think is a very respectful thing to do for the audience."
The Citizen author was especially struck by the connection Swift fosters with fans.
"I get it now," he remarked.
"I understand why she has such an impact on people and why a lot of these young girls are so captivated."
Clinton described how his granddaughter Charlotte and other young attendees sang along to every word.
"I was fascinated watching our crowd of kids," he said.
"All of them up there singing, and they all knew the words to all the songs."
Swift gets ready to say goodbye to The Eras Tour
Meanwhile, Swift delivered emotional moments during her sixth and final sold-out Toronto show.
After receiving a prolonged standing ovation for her performance of Champagne Problems, the singer choked back tears, thanking the crowd for their overwhelming support.
"This tour ... I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. I'm just having a bit of a moment," Swift admitted, pausing to wipe her eyes before joking, "It's not even the last show!"
The Eras Tour will go on a last stop in Vancouver at the beginning of the next month.
I didn’t know Taylor Swift”smoked” cigars.
My late friend Irene got some of that bad blood during heart surgery in Arkansas and had to fight off disease because of it. Yeah, I remember.
Taylor Swift has done the impossible - sing songs with less melody than the average rap song *and* top the charts.
“remember the Clinton’ Bad Blood scandal?
One of my classmates from high school died from the clinton bad blood scandal.
She was pregnant with twins. During delivery she required a blood transfusion. Contaminated blood with HIV ended up killing her.
Rot in hell Clintons, the whole bunch of you!
[Any guy who goes to a Taylor Swift concert deserves to lose their Man Card.]
TODAY’S KIDS CAN learn the music & words to all those songs in 15 minutes——
But cannot pass a single history test or math test.
I hadn’t forgotten that particular bit of Krinton evil.
Want to make millions of Swifties heads explode? Tweet that Taylor looks fat in that photo.
😀😀😀😀😀
There’s a guy on YT who evaluates singers using an app that can identify the note being sung. It allows you to see who CAN sing, and who’s using autotune. (Among other things). It also allows you to compare the vocals from the same song recorded at different shows in different countries on the same tour. Using this, he was able to determine that the vocals are recorded and she’s lip syncing to them. His app shows the curve that the voice takes, and when you overlay hers, they’re an EXACT match. And as he has shown by analyzing some great singers, NO ONE is that good.

That’s fair. But do you think the attendees know what they’re paying for? I’m sure the vast majority wouldn’t care, but wouldn’t it be nice to at least be told?
And I’ve only heard as much of one of her songs as it took me to get to the dial, or button to change the channel.
