Both of your verses came to mind, and a few others, as I thought about engaging this fine Christmas morning with the ‘tired’ know-it-all on the Quantum Teleporation thread spewing and twisting Bible verses to suit his distorted ‘knowledge’ of Christianity (equating Jesus and Buddha, equating Jesus stating ‘I and the Father are One...’ to Buddha’s ‘I am One with the Universe’ or some New Age lies). The Holy Spirit is an ‘It’ - a level of consciousness, etc.
Jesus said “I am the Way the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by me”. On this I’m confident the three of us agree.
