The Avery Davis Bell case sounds to me like the brains were sucked out of the wrong person.
Imagine the intent involved, with planning a trip out of town to terminate a childs life. Not a quick decision, made in haste. It takes real dedication to a life of whoredom, and selfishness.

As for Texas, the latest Induced Termination of Pregnancy (ITOP) report from Texas Health and Human Services shows that 119 abortions were committed in the state under the medical exception clause of its pro-life law during the first 24 months after the overturning of Roe v. Wade. And, to date, no doctor has been prosecuted for those abortions or faced lawsuits.

I have been in an Emory Hospital a couple of times in the past 40 years and I wasn't impressed. Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center north of the beltway is a fantastic place where I and my wife have had several procedures done. Our Primary Care Doctor is in the WellStar System.
MS. Bell obviously received the proper treatment by law.
This would be devastating for any parent to hear. That is why most of us would be shocked if the parents turned to the doctor and said, "Can you just kill him now?" Yet these stories are sympathetically told by journalists who advocate for abortions.
It is terrible that lawmakers say, "No, you can't just 'off' the kid sooner." /sarc
